Ask for a quote

Custom lighting changes how a car looks from the front, day and night. We build rings and running lights into the headlight itself, so the result looks like it belongs there.

What this covers

  • Hexagon Halos RGB
  • RGB angel rings with selectable colours
  • RGB and white daytime running lights
  • Amber turn-signal function on DRL units that support it

Is this for you?

Signs you need it

  • 01You want the car to be recognisable from the front, day and night
  • 02Your factory rings have gone dim or yellow
  • 03You want daytime running lights the car did not come with
  • 04The headlights are already being opened for a projector upgrade

In detail

What you should know before you decide

Rings, halos and DRLs: the difference

An angel ring is a circle of light around the projector. A hexagon halo is the same idea in a six-sided shape. A daytime running light is a strip or shape that stays on while you drive so the car is seen sooner.

All three can be white, amber or RGB. RGB kits let you pick the colour and set them back to white for everyday driving.

Why they are built inside the lamp

Lights stuck on the outside of a headlight peel, fade and look added on. We open the headlight, fix the rings or strips in position behind the lens and seal the unit again. From outside it looks like the car was made that way.

How they are wired

Running lights are usually set to come on with the ignition. Units with a turn-signal function switch to amber with the indicators and go back to white afterwards, as on the Prado in our photos. RGB kits are run from a controller.

We agree how you want them to behave before wiring anything.

Sealing

Any time a headlight is opened, it has to be sealed again properly or moisture gets in. The lens is bonded back with fresh sealant and the lamp is checked before it goes back on the car.

Process

How the job goes

  1. 1

    Choose the look

White, amber or RGB, ring or hexagon. We show you what suits your lamp shape.

  2. 2

    Build

The lamp is opened and the rings or strips are fixed in position.

  3. 3

    Wire

The lights are wired so they come on the way you expect: with ignition, with the indicators or from a controller.

  4. 4

    Seal and test

The unit is sealed and every colour and function is checked.

Questions

Asked often

Can the colour be changed after fitting?
RGB kits can. White and amber kits are fixed to those colours.
Can I add rings at the same time as a projector upgrade?
Yes, and it is the best time to do it because the headlight is already open.
